::  Cherrapunji -- What to Carry ::
Carry a light jacket or a shawl as the temperature can get quiet chilly after a shower.
Don't forget to carry your raincoat or umbrellas as the weather is predictable and unpredictable at times and can completely take you by surprise.
If you are on a day trip to Cherrapunjee and finicky about food, then carry your own snacks or lunch. Vegetarians especially ought to be little wary as most of the delicacies in Khasi District are non vegetarian.
Carry Sunglasses and mosquito repellants if you intend to stay overnight at Cherrapunjee.
If you intend to trek to the Living Root Bridge, don't forget your sturdy walking shoes and lightest bermuda as the trek is trecherous and not for the faint hearted.
What to Carry back from Cherrapunji ?
Take back photographs and leave behind your footprints. Commonly grown fruits and nuts include orange, areca nut, jack fruit, pine apple and cassia leaf groves. Other than than you can take back Orange Flower honey as well as cardamom and other spices which are locally sold at all major tourist attractions.
